It is with great pride that we announce the promotion of Michael Rimson to Director of Supportive Services for Social Model Recovery Systems.
Michael’s journey is one of transformation, perseverance, and purpose. A proud veteran, he has experienced homelessness and involvement with the criminal justice system, experiences that could have defined his future. Instead, he transformed those experiences into a life of service, helping others overcome barriers, achieve stability, and realize their potential. Today, Michael leads with compassion, authenticity, and a deep belief in the potential of every person he serves. His story is a powerful reminder that when people are given the opportunity to rebuild their lives, resilience, determination, and purpose can create lasting change.
In his new role, Michael will help guide two of SMRS’ most critical supportive service programs, ensuring people experiencing homelessness have access to the resources, care, and opportunities they need to move toward greater stability and well-being.
