It is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Frank Valdez from Program Supervisor at the Skid Row Care Campus to Project Director at the Maple Health Hub.

Although Frank has been with SMRS for just over a year, he has quickly distinguished himself as a trusted leader through his professionalism, collaborative approach, and dedication to the Skid Row community. As Program Supervisor of the Skid Row Care Campus, he has strengthened program operations, supported staff development, and helped ensure the delivery of compassionate, person-centered services.

For more than 35 years, Frank has dedicated his career to serving some of our communities’ most vulnerable individuals. From people experiencing homelessness and veterans to medically fragile individuals and those living with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, his work has been guided by compassion, service, and a commitment to improving lives. Throughout his career, Frank has led complex, publicly funded programs serving individuals experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable populations. His experience strengthening operations, developing staff, building community partnerships, and leading multidisciplinary teams has earned him a reputation as a thoughtful, dependable leader committed to service and accountability.

Frank’s leadership has already made a meaningful impact at the Skid Row Care Campus. His ability to strengthen teams, build relationships, and lead with professionalism and compassion makes him exceptionally well suited to guide the Maple Health Hub as it continues to grow and expand services. As Project Director of the Maple Health Hub, Frank will provide leadership for program operations, staff development, community partnerships, and strategic initiatives, helping ensure the continued delivery of high-quality, person-centered services for the communities we serve.
