Social Model Recovery Systems is proud to celebrate Elda N. Rocha, SUDCC II, on her promotion to Program Manager at Bimini.
Elda began her journey with Bimini in June 2024 as a Primary Counselor. From the very beginning, she showed a sincere heart for helping others. She supported residents with patience, compassion, and encouragement as they worked through their recovery journey. Whether someone needed guidance, reassurance, or simply someone to believe in them, Elda made it a priority to be present and supportive.
In September 2025, Elda was promoted to Program Coordinator, where she continued to grow and support both residents and staff. Now that she is the new Program Manager, she brings the same kindness, dedication, and heart for helping others. Elda is grateful to continue serving the Bimini community and helping others heal, grow, and move forward.
For Elda, this work is more than a job. It is meaningful work that allows her to help others recognize their worth, build confidence, and believe that a better life is possible. Her journey has taught her the importance of hope, accountability, compassion, and perseverance — values she continues to bring into her work each day.
“I believe every person has the ability to grow, heal, and make meaningful changes when they are given support, structure, and encouragement,” Elda shared.
One of the most rewarding parts of her work is walking alongside residents as they face challenges, overcome obstacles, and begin to see their own potential. Elda leads with compassion, respect, and understanding, while also encouraging accountability and personal growth.
As Program Manager, Elda hopes to continue building an environment where residents feel supported, staff feel valued, and recovery remains at the heart of the work being done each day.
“I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and serve with purpose,” Elda shared. “I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of Bimini’s mission and hope to make a positive impact on both the residents and the team.”
