Several key executives from SMRS graced the event with their presence, including CEO Bruce Boardman, COO Chris Abernathy, Senior Director of Treatment Services Denise Hernandez-Felice, Senior Director of Clinical Services, and Board Member Kristine Larsen. Their attendance underscored the organization’s commitment to supporting and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community within its programs. Additionally, staff, participants, and residents from various other SMRS programs attended, fostering a sense of unity and collective celebration.

One of the highlights of the PRIDE event was the array of engaging games facilitated by Ray Amaya and April Newman. Their efforts ensured that everyone, from staff to residents, was actively involved and thoroughly enjoying themselves. The games fostered a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition, making the day memorable for all participants.

No celebration is complete without a feast, and the PRIDE event was no exception. Attendees enjoyed a mouth-watering selection of food, including roasted pig, burgers, hotdogs, and a variety of other delectable options. The food added to the festive atmosphere, providing nourishment and delight to everyone who attended.
