Albert Grant, Anna Lee, John Catania, and John Mills recently took center stage as they proudly represented Social Model Recovery Systems (SMRS) at the highly anticipated Citizens Business Bank Charity Golf Tournament.
The event was held at the illustrious Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, California. This annual event served as a remarkable occasion to support local nonprofits and foster connections with prominent figures from both the private and nonprofit sectors in Los Angeles County. Although our team did not secure a top placement, their performance was remarkable and resonated with the tournament’s spirit of friendly competition.
One highlight of the day came on hole #16, a challenging par 3. Anna Lee’s precision on the course earned her the “women’s closest to the pin” award, an achievement that brought pride and recognition to the SMRS team. This feat not only showcases Anna’s talent but also reflects the commitment and skills of the entire SMRS team.
It was not only Anna Lee who left the tournament with a sense of accomplishment. John Catania was in for a pleasant surprise as he walked away with a brand-new golf bag, adding to the day’s positive experiences and memories.
The SMRS team’s participation and achievements at the tournament not only highlight their dedication but also inspire others to join in the cause and make a difference in the lives of those in need.
