Melanie Arellano, Social Model Recovery Systems Regional Director of Los Angeles Programs earned her bachelor’s degree in Community Psychology at Pacific Oak College. This achievement not only highlights her personal dedication but also serves as an inspiration to all of us who have had the privilege of witnessing her journey.
Melanie found solace and purpose in pursuing education. She is continuing her education to pursue her goal of getting a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She realized that obtaining a master’s degree could be a powerful way to regain a sense of control and inspire more people.
Melanie is excited to embark on her journey towards becoming a licensed therapist and hopes to make a positive impact on individuals and families in need. She believes that her experiences at Social Model Recovery Systems have shaped her passion for helping others, and she is eager to apply the knowledge and skills she gained during her undergraduate studies in her future career in Marriage and Family Therapy.
