PCADD AOD recently held a sober celebration to honor participants who reached important milestones in their sobriety journey.

The celebration recognized four participants: one celebrating one year of sobriety, one celebrating three months, one celebrating six months, and one celebrating nine months. Each milestone is special because it shows strength, commitment, and the courage it takes to keep moving forward in recovery.
To make the morning even more memorable and meaningful, the Pasadena Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (PCADD) AOD team prepared a pancake breakfast for participants. Staff and participants came together to share a meal, celebrate progress, and support one another.
PCADD AOD would like to thank the team for making this celebration so meaningful for participants. Their time, kindness, and effort helped create a warm and welcoming breakfast where participants could feel honored for the progress they have made. A special thank you to Jesse Zaragoza, Angela Rivera, and Monique Rodriguez for preparing the delicious pancake feast and helping make the morning feel personal and special.
This celebration carried a lot of meaning. It showed how important it is to pause, recognize progress, and celebrate each person’s recovery journey.
At PCADD, participants are supported through services and through encouragement, connection, and a community that believes in them every step of the way.
