March is Social Work Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the dedication, compassion, and expertise of social workers who make a difference in the lives of individuals and families.

At Social Model Recovery Systems (SMRS), we are grateful for the social workers in our agency who bring advocacy, support, and unwavering commitment to those on their path to recovery.

Social workers do so much more than provide services—they are advocates, problem-solvers, and sources of strength for those navigating life’s toughest challenges. They build trust, empower individuals, and work to ensure that everyone has access to the care and resources they need.

At SMRS, social workers contribute to residential programs, outpatient services, and community-based housing. Whether they are providing case management, crisis intervention, or linking residents and participants to essential resources like housing and employment, they support individuals in building a healthier, more stable, and fulfilling lifestyle.

At our agency, we are fortunate to have a small but mighty group of social workers who contribute their knowledge and dedication every day. Their work includes:

✔️ Helping residents/participants through crises
✔️ Providing essential resources for housing, employment, and healthcare
✔️ Advocating for accessible care and recovery services
