We are thrilled to welcome Valerie Cruz, CADC-II, as the new Program Director for Stepping Stones, a program of Social Model Recovery Systems (SMRS).
In 1993, Valerie began her personal journey of recovery at Stepping Stones, where she made the decision to surrender her life and seek a path to healing. This transformative experience laid the groundwork for her subsequent commitment to working in the field of addiction treatment. Over the years, Valerie has actively sought opportunities to expand her knowledge and expertise, learning from esteemed professionals who share a deep passion for helping individuals overcome addiction.
Now, as she reflects on her journey, Valerie finds herself at a profound moment of completion. Returning to Stepping Stones, the place that once served as her sanctuary, she realizes that she has come full circle. It is with immense excitement and dedication that she joins the esteemed team at Social Model Recovery Systems.
Valerie is fully committed to this noble cause and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through her work in addiction treatment. With a resolute mindset, she is prepared to face the challenges ahead and contribute to the exceptional work conducted by the SMRS team.
