Our maintenance department is one of the essential parts of our agency. Its primary responsibility is to ensure that the facilities, equipment, and systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in optimal condition. The team also keeps our agency programs safe through upkeep, repair, and support to our internal customers.
This new dynamic team of individuals is headed by Eddie Sarinana, Maintenance Supervisor, who takes pride in the work he does, and it shows through the quality and care each day he lands at one of our programs. The team is overseeing the general upkeep and cleanliness of buildings, including tasks like plumbing repairs, electrical maintenance, painting, and HVAC system maintenance.
Maintenance and plant upkeep are ongoing processes which take a lot of planning and organization. Our team does their very best to provide the finest care and service daily to ensure our participants, residents, and staff stay safe while working.
SMRS created a Maintenance Department in October 2017 with the vision of providing internal maintenance and beautification for our agency programs. In addition to general facility maintenance, we built strong relationships with community partners to launch a procurement process which affords our agency many donations from various supporters.
