Submitted by <strong>Denise Hernandez Felice, Senior Director of Treatment Services at SMRS<\/strong>, <em>Together We Rise<\/em> was selected as the winning entry because it captured the very heart of the Al-Impics: community, resilience, and hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Every moment at the <em>Al-Impics<\/em> reflected the power of coming together. It was a beautiful reminder that celebration can be found in even the simplest of moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><em>Al-Impics<\/em> Los Angeles 2025 was never just about competition. It was about the courage shared, the strength shown, and the joy of being part of something bigger. The event showed us that true victory lives in unity and hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">More than a win, Denise\u2019s theme reflects the values SMRS brings to life through our work. Just as <em>SMRS<\/em> walks beside people on their recovery journey, the Al-Impics stood as a potent reminder that we rise higher when we rise together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">As the games came to a close, the words <strong>\u201cTogether We Rise\u201d <\/strong>remained, not only as a theme but as a shared mission.
