After furthering my education, I transitioned to a substance abuse counselor. After deciding that I want to learn more tools to address deeper issues while providing counseling, I entered an MFT program. I am now an associate marriage and family therapist with the privilege of providing individual, couples, and family sessions. I\u2019ve been working in the substance abuse field since 2016. I started off as a counselor, and I went on to get my Master of Social Worker degree because I wanted to do more in-depth therapy work with people who are struggling with substance abuse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a Clinical Coordinator, working with Social Model Recovery Systems will help me obtain my clinical hours, and meet with my clinical supervisor weekly.
